A little girl introduces us to her family and friends.
The portrait gallery turns into an incredible bestiary. Each member of the family is depicted in the form of an animal whose physical or moral characteristics it would have. Thus, the grandfather, noble and slow, is a deer, while the uncle, very voracious, looks like a brown bear! These portraits reveal the young narrator’s extraordinary sense of observation, humour and subtlety.
By Laurent Moreau, one of the most talented and inventive illustrators of his generation (and one of our favorites, at Titlee).
