    - You in a few words:
Tall, blonde, always in the same mood, I am calm and calm with a great sense of measure. Okay, that’s not quite it;)

It would be rather Architect, creative, impulsive, sensitive, chatty, overwhelmed and at the same time maxi-slow, full of contradictions, doubts and humor, it is immediately less sexy, eh;)

    - A project you dream of achieving:
Sleep for a year or invent the job of my dreams: 100% created 0% constraints.

    - Something you find overrated:
    The speed

    - underestimated:
Simplicity often confused with lack of ambition

    • that makes you dance: "You" by Etienne de Crécy
    • Makes you cry: Chopin’s Night Owls
    • Soothes you: "la Ritournelle" by Sébastien Tellier
    • that you listen while working: "Before I get bored" by Mathieu Boogaerts
    • that you listen when you need to forget everything: "52 covers in space" by Philippe Katerine with a special tenderness for "Papayou"

    - A book:
    • who changed your life: the one I’m going to write one day;)
    • that you regularly read: Ernst Beyeler, La passion de l'art.
    • that you love to offer: A life of creation by Charlotte Perriand.
    • you never finished: Beauty of Lord Albert Cohen (Shame on me)

    - Your mantra of the moment:
    Patience and calories;)

    - Do you have a ritual, a discipline that helps you during this period of confinement?

    - Your list of “less” and “more” after confinement:
    Less stuff, More time

There is something instantly recognizable about a Mina Perhonen’s creations : it could be a teacup, a brooch or a dress, there is always the same rich narrative images, the same sense of elegance, the same foundamental soundness in each item designed by Akira Minagawa, who founded the brand inspired by Scandinavia in 1995 (« Minä Perhonen » is the Finnish word for « I am the butterfly » ).

The Call store, opened in 2016 at the 5th floor of the Spiral’s building in Aoyama, Tokyo – the same building where the « exhibition minä’s work » was held in 2002 - takes its name from “Creation All,” which Mina Perhonen designer Akira Minagawa explains is derived from the concept of being “all-inclusive” – everything in Call is available to buy including the tableware in the cafe or the canoë used as a display in the store.

Minagawa has gathered together in the same space his women and kids’ collections, but also vintage ceramics, children’s toys and a textile corner that offers a range of Mina Perhonen fabrics that can be bought by the meter.

This is also the first time that Minä Perhonen has opened a store that includes a cafe and a grocery shop. You can have a lunch served on exclusive Minä Perhonen tableware or buy some miso paste made by Minagawa’s older sister.

    Call: 5F Spiral, 5-6-23 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo; open daily 11 a.m.-8 p.m. (Cafe L.O. 7:30 p.m.). 03-6825-3733; www.mp-call.jp
