Atsuko Ishii, a Japanese artist who has lived in France since 1995, devotes himself to the art of etching: etched water.
Through his colourful engravings, Atsuko Ishii depicts excerpts from everyday life, fragments randomly taken from his wanderings or recovered in society magazines. With humour, she puts her personal touch on it and offers us another way of looking at our environment. At first glance, her prints seem full of naivety, but she is feigned because her compositions are often tinged with mischief.
